Terms of Service

The terms that govern your use of the K.R. Medicines House website and the orders we fulfill through WhatsApp, phone, or in-store.

1. Introduction and acceptance

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the website operated by K.R. Medicines House and any orders, inquiries, or other interactions that begin on the site or through the contact channels listed in Section 14. By using the website you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

These Terms work alongside our Privacy Policy. Together they describe the relationship between you and the pharmacy when you visit, contact, or order from us.

2. About us

K.R. Medicines House is a licensed neighborhood pharmacy that has served Dilshad Garden, Delhi since 2001. The website is informational and acts as a starting point for orders, which are completed via WhatsApp, phone, or in person at the store. We do not process payments or fulfill orders directly on this website.

We operate under the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940 and the Drugs and Cosmetics Rules, 1945. Our drug licence numbers are Form 20: RLF20DL2025000895 and Form 21: RLF21DL2025000884.

3. Eligibility

Anyone may use the website. For any contractual matter involving a minor — such as a refund, replacement, or dispute about an order — the minor’s parent or lawful guardian is the responsible party under Indian law.

Prescription-only medicines (drugs listed in Schedule H, H1, and X under the Drugs and Cosmetics Rules, 1945) are dispensed only against a valid prescription issued by a registered medical practitioner. We may refuse any order that does not meet this requirement.

4. Use of the website

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and view this website for your personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to:

  • copy, scrape, or systematically extract content from the site;
  • use automated tools, bots, or crawlers in a way that overloads our infrastructure;
  • republish, sell, or commercially exploit any content from the site;
  • attempt to interfere with the security of the site or any of the third-party services it relies on;
  • use the site to do anything unlawful or that infringes the rights of others.

5. Not medical advice

Information on this website — including descriptions of medicines and categories, general health content, and pharmacist commentary — is provided for general reference only. It is not medical advice and is not intended to replace consultation with a qualified medical professional.

Our pharmacists may share general guidance about how to take a medicine, common interactions, or storage advice. Any decision about whether to start, stop, or change a medicine should be made with your doctor.

If you have a medical emergency, call your physician or the National Emergency Number 112 immediately. Do not rely on this website or our WhatsApp channel for urgent care.

6. Ordering and dispensing

Orders are placed by reaching out to us — not by clicking a checkout button on this website. You can:

  • send a WhatsApp message to +91-9868085045;
  • call the pharmacy desk on the same number;
  • visit the store in person.

When you send us your request, we confirm availability and pricing before we process anything. An order is only accepted once we confirm it back to you. We may decline or hold an order if the prescription is missing, expired, illegible, or otherwise non-compliant with the Drugs and Cosmetics Rules; if a Schedule X requirement is not met; if the item is out of stock; or if we suspect misuse.

We rely on the information you provide. Please make sure that names, dosages, and delivery details are correct. We will not be responsible for errors that result from incorrect or incomplete information that you supplied.

7. Pricing and payment

Prices for medicines and other products are indicative and may change without notice. The final price for your order is confirmed when we accept the order via WhatsApp, phone, or in store.

Payment is made at the point of delivery or in store. We accept cash, UPI, and card payments. We do not process any online payment through this website — if anything on the site appears to ask you to pay online, do not provide payment details and contact us using the information in Section 14.

8. Delivery

We offer free local delivery within a service area determined by the pharmacy. The service area, available time windows, and our ability to deliver any given order are at our discretion and depend on staff availability, weather, and traffic conditions.

Estimated delivery times are estimates only and not guaranteed. For scheduled drugs, we may require the recipient to be present, to sign for the delivery, or to show identification at hand-over.

Risk of loss and damage passes to you when the order is handed over to you or anyone present at the delivery address.

9. Returns, refunds, and replacements

Under the Drugs and Cosmetics Rules, 1945 medicines are generally not returnable once they have left the pharmacy. This rule exists to protect public health: we cannot resell medicines whose handling chain we cannot vouch for.

We will replace or refund a product when:

  • we dispatched the wrong item;
  • the product was damaged on arrival or sealed packaging was broken;
  • the product was expired or close to expiry on arrival;
  • there is a manufacturing defect.

Please report any of these within 24 hours of receiving the order, ideally with a photograph. We will arrange a replacement, a refund to the original payment method, or equivalent in-store credit — whichever you prefer and we can practically offer.

10. Intellectual property

The K.R. Medicines House name, logo, website design, copy, photographs, and other creative content are owned by the pharmacy or our licensors and are protected by Indian and international copyright and trademark law. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or use any of this content for your own purposes without our prior written permission.

11. Third-party links and services

The website links to third-party sites and services — for example, Google Maps for our store location, vendor privacy policies, and WhatsApp for messaging. Those services have their own terms and privacy practices, which we do not control. Using them is your choice and at your own risk.

12. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The website is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we make no warranties about the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or availability of the website or any content on it.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the website — including loss of profits, business interruption, or loss of data. Our total liability for any claim arising from a specific order is limited to the value of that order.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under Indian consumer law.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction; changes to these Terms

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Delhi.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Effective” date at the top of this page. For material changes — for example, a new section that changes the rights and obligations of either party — we will take reasonable steps to notify you, including by posting a notice on the website.
